Enrolment Applications
Highvale Secondary College regularly receives enrolment enquires from families who move into the Monash local government area and others who wish to transfer from other school. Parents or guardians need to complete and submit the attached Enrolment Expression of interest form below.
Enrolment applications from families of children in grade 6 in a Government Primary School are organised through an application process conducted on the Department’s behalf by the child’s primary school. Parents are required to complete and return enrolment forms by the end of May to their primary school. Notification of the Year 7 secondary school is sent to families early August by the primary school.
Year 7 Supplementary Admission
Submission for Enrolment is made through the Primary School for local students and directly to the school for students from interstate or overseas. Primary schools provide the North Eastern Region “Application for Year 7 Enrolment” form and details of the application process.
Once your child is enrolled in Year 7 we ask parents/care-givers to complete and return this supplementary information form to assist us plan for your child’s education program. Scholarship Application
Highvale Secondary College rewards enthusiastic and talented students who show initiative, leadership and high academic ability. Scholarship recipients benefit from our first class programs and facilities and make a full contribution to College life. Highvale Secondary College provides three categories of Scholarship: Academic, Music and Sport. These scholarships are awarded each year.
International Students
Highvale Secondary College is a government coeducational school located in a convenient neighbourhood in Glen Waverley, Melbourne, VIC. The college has been providing an International Student Program since 1996. We accept Year 7 to VCE International Students, predominantly in the senior years, who study at Highvale Secondary College to gain their Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE).
Highvale Secondary College is close to public transport and easy access to The Glen shopping district and Vermont South Shopping centre. The college has approximately 1000 students on campus. We currently have more than 50 International Students who come from China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Korea, Canada and Japan.

To enrol as an international student (Visa Subclass 500) at Highvale Secondary College, please apply through the Department of Education and Training (DET) – International Education Division.
